This motor has 10 poles, so the value for VBAR Sensor Config will be 10/2 = 5 during setup of governor.
Weighs around 487 Grams. For its weight, the max output wattage is really high. It's a really nice competition grade motor.
Using a circlip remover tool the motor is dis-assembled.
The output shaft already has a flat spot machined for the pinion set screw.
Cool looking hand wound high temp coils coated with epoxy!
I am removing the stock bearings and replacing those with a higher grade bearing packed with High temp, heavy duty water proof grease. The stock bearings will work fine though. Because of the high power output, the bearings will be really hot during operations, High temp heavy duty grease seems to last the longest for me. The Bearings sizes are ID10mm X OD19mm X W5mm if you need to perform maintenance.
Lastly testing the motor for coil shorts.
